Scott Crick, PhD, has worked in OTM since March, 2015. As a Licensing Associate, Scott handles IP protection, marketing, and licensing for technologies including, but not limited to: medical devices, imaging techniques and instrumentation, software, optics, nanoparticles, tissue/cellular engineering, and many other exciting technologies developed in the School of Engineering.
Prior to joining the office, he obtained his BS and PhD degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University. His graduate research was focused on protein biophysics of intrinsically disordered proteins, particularly those involved in neurodegenerative diseases.
He was an NIH NRSA Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Neurology at the Washington University School of Medicine where he studied molecular underpinnings of protein aggregation in neural cells.
