If you are considering forming a company to develop an invention that has been discovered at the Univerasity, please contact the Office of Technology Management so we can discuss your ideas and help you make better decisions regarding such issues as capital and marketing. While most of our technology is transferred to the public domain through large, established companies, start-ups often provide the very best means to accomplish this objective.

Start-ups raise exciting issues such as potential growth and equity ownership. They also raise important issues regarding conflict of interests and conflict of commitment. Please work with us so we can find a path that works best for you and for the University.
